I can't believe we're already a month into summer! The sun burst out this weekend while we were in Packwood celebrating the 4th of July! I LOVE the Fourth...mostly because it means the arrival of summer, but also because of the fruity seasonal desserts and of course the FIREWORKS! And who doesn't like to celebrate independence, right!?
Sunday night some neighbors down the creek put on a fabulous show that mom and I enjoyed by our campfire. Monday night the neighborhood went to town as we enjoyed a homemade apple tart with vanilla ice cream...you really can't get more American than that.
